At APASSION our focus is on combining highly personalised service with offering luxurious, yet relaxing, accommodation. Our personalisation starts with the fact that we’ve designed and built all the APASSION properties to ensure they are tailored to the needs of our clients, through to the very first email contact and ultimately to the experience our guests enjoy once in resort.
Rob and Vicky will be happy to help organise your airport transfers, ski lessons, ski hire, lift passes, nannies or crèche and anything else you might need during your stay. You will be contacted prior to your holiday to discuss your full requirements and to help you make your choices.
A passion for high quality cuisine is a key ingredient behind the name of our business. Along with the intoxicating draw of the alpine mountains, we also aspire to share our love for food with our guests.
We pride ourselves on the quality and variety of our food offering and we are continually experimenting to ensure your taste buds are always delighted and challenged. We will indulge your senses with the aromas of our freshly baked cakes and the culinary delights of carefully cooked, gourmet evening meals complemented by a choice of red and white wines.
Our catered luxury ski holidays are the epitome of the APASSION experience. As seasoned travellers and experienced skiers, we understand the importance of delicious and nutritious food as part of a perfect luxury ski experience.
At APASSION, your day will begin with a hearty breakfast, including both hot and cold options, setting you up perfectly for a day of skiing, snowboarding, other alpine sports or a more leisurely exploration of the Haute Savoie region. Afternoon tea, including a sumptuous homemade cake, will be waiting for you on your return to the chalet.
In the evening you will be greeted with canapés and pre-dinner drinks followed by a three-course meal, carefully prepared with the best of fresh local and seasonal ingredients.
With dinner we offer complementary red and white wines carefully selected directly from the producers. If you prefer an alternative we can, for an additional charge, offer a selection of wines from other regions of France. Â Bottled beer is also offered on a complementary basis during the evening.
For the younger members of your group, a two course children’s menu is available with all meals being homemade from fresh wholesome ingredients. We are happy to offer a separate sitting for children from 6pm, or if you prefer your children to eat with you this can also be easily accommodated. Your preferences can be discussed in advance of your arrival at the chalet as part of our pre-holiday contact.
One day a week (two evenings at Chalet APASSION) you have the chalet to yourself, as is common tradition for ski chalet holidays. On this day a self-service breakfast is made available. In the evening, you are free to sample the delights of one of the great local restaurants in Samoëns. We can help you with recommendations and with making reservations.
Outside of the winter ski season, we offer Chalet APASSION on a bed & breakfast basis with the option to enjoy a two course evening meal up to a maximum of 3 nights per week.
For breakfast, guests are offered a choice of cereals, tea, coffee, fruit juice, yoghurts, freshly baked croissants, a selection of fresh fruit and a daily hot option.
In the evenings you can visit one of the many excellent restaurants in Samoëns. There are many options on offer in the village including traditional French cuisine, local Savoyard specialties such as fondue, tartiflette and crêpes as well as more international fare. We would be delighted to make a recommendation and organise your reservation for you. Alternatively, why not try ‘Evening APASSION’ for some of the evenings during your stay.
Apartment ACCORD (year round) and Chalet ALLURE (outside of the winter ski season).
You will be met at the chalet/apartment on arrival to ensure you settle-in and have the chance to ask any questions you may have about the property or about local activities and events that may be happening during your stay.
You’ll receive a welcome pack on arrival containing some basic essentials (including English tea!) to get you up and running and the kitchen comes stocked with some staple items such as oil, tin-foil and cling-film. To make life a little easier you’ll also find cleaning products, washing-up liquid and dishwasher tablets to save you having to buy these on arrival.
In the laundry room you’ll find a washing machine, a tumble dryer as well as an ironing board an iron and a clothes airer (Note: Not available at Apartment ACCORD during the winter season).
In the bedroom all your bedding, bed linen and towels are provided.
A self-catered stay doesn’t have to mean you do all the cooking so if you want a break from the kitchen then breakfast and evening meals can be provided on a pre-requested basis directly to the chalet. Additional charges apply which must be paid for locally.Â
Alternatively there are many restaurants in the village offering traditional French cuisine, local Savoyard specialties such as fondue, tartiflette and crêpes as well as more international fare. We would be delighted to make a recommendation and organise your reservation for you.
If you are tempted to enjoy any in-chalet catering during your stay then we will be happy to discuss your requirements as part of the planning process prior to your stay.
